Sell your cask

At Stravaig Spirits we are always looking for casks to bottle. It’s our aim to eventually get a cask of whisky into a bottle, whether that’s immediately or a few years down the line. We may decide to mature it longer or perhaps even change the wood in order to get the whisky to it’s best possible quality.

As we have our own brands as well as project manage for other independent bottlers around the world, we’re always looking for excellent quality whisky. If you choose to sell us your cask to us, we’ll likely ask for a recent re-gauge report and a small sample so we can provide you with an accurate offer.

Stravaig Spirits is fully licenced (WOWGR and AWRS) by HMRC to trade, own and manage duty suspended goods held in excise warehouses (both maturing casks of spirit and bottled products). This means that we adhere to a stringent due diligence policy for the benefit of our suppliers, customers as well as the wider whisky industry.

All new customers and suppliers must pass our checks before we do business together. This provides our customers assurance that when it comes to bottling and purchasing casks, we do things correctly.
